For the first day since this One A Day project began, I’m stuck. I can’t think of anything to write about.
I could put it off until later today, but I imagine I’ll just be tired then, and as such be even less likely to write something interesting.
So, today, I’m going to write about how I’m stuck.
Being stuck for something to write is frustrating. It hits like a horrible curse, mainly because when you’re stuck for something to write about, you can’t pitch anything anywhere. Sending emails saying “hey – assign me some work, would you?” don’t tend to be as successful.
It’s not the first time I’ve been stuck. In fact, I’d say I’m probably stuck most of the time.
At least, this time, I’m only stuck for something to write about on my personal blog, instead of, say, an exceptionally important magazine or website.
Still, it doesn’t bode well after yesterday’s post.
I like the word “bode”. I should use it more often. I might try to get it into my writing outside of that little idiom, as well.
Top fact: I just typoed “idiom” as “idiot”, then.
And that is how I’m stuck.
